Afghanistan Blown Away By Eion Morgan's Record Breaking Innings.

Manchester witnessed the Rain of sixes as Eion Morgan Hit the record 17 sixes in his quickburst innings of 148 of just 71 balls.England after winning the toss batting first blown away the afghanistan bowling line up and mounted a record score of 397-6 in 50 overs. Rashid khan afghanistan's star bowler got hit on all parts of the ground by Eion morgan.  Rashid khan conceded 110 runs in his 9 overs with 12.22 runs per over the maximum runs conceded ever in World cups for Afghanistan and worst figures by any bowler in this year's event. This was also the highest ever team total in world cup  2019 and highest ever odi team total in manchester. In 2015 event Afghanistan also became the victim of highest total for 2015 event as australia piled 415 runs against them.
In Reply Afghanistan start was no so impressive as they lost noor ali zadran without scoring to jofra archer. Skipper gulbadin naib and rahmat shah showed some resilience and took the team total past 100 in a stiff chase for Afghanistan.
Asghar Afghan and hashmatullah shahidi both contributed strongly and raised some hopes for Afghanistan camp. Hashmatullah went on to make 76 and asghar afghan were dismissed for 44.
