Australia Got Better Of Pakistan in Taunton.
Australia maintained their winning run against Pakistan as they minimised them by 41 runs in the close battle of the ICC Cricket world cup played at county ground in taunton.
After Two Days of Wash out in the World cup 2019 We got some action as Australia and Pakistan clashed it out on the cloudy day at taunton. After winning the toss opting to field Pakistan bowling looked very ordinary and failed to grab some opening wickets on a green wicket. David warner and Aaron Finch started on a positive note adding 146 run opening stand before amir got better of finch on 82. David warner on the other hand keep on playing the classy strokes and went on to make a splendid century. In the last 10 overs Pakistan made a strong comeback by collapsing australia.
Australia went to make 307 in 49 overs after last ten overs went for 50 at a cost of six Australian wickets.
Mohammad amir was the star bowler for Pakistan picking up 5-30 in his 10 while as shaheen shah afridi grabbed 2-70 in his ten overs. Wahab Riaz also showed some pace and movements with his figures of 1-44. Wahab Riaz failed to make a big impact with his bowling and also to Didn't present the same vibes when the two sides last meet in 2015 world cup. That clash was known for wahab's fiery spell which he bowled against shane watson and that was the knock out game. Wahab riaz made a handy 45 of 39 with a great support of 40 by sarfraz ahmad who was run out by a brilliant one handed throw aim at one stump by maxwell to finish the Pakistan innings on 266 in 45.4 overs. This game a great gamebut a disappointing one from the Pakistani fan point of view. The next game for Pakistan is with their arch rivals india on 16th of june in Manchester.
