New Zealand and India were Scheduled to meet for the first time since the 2003 world Cup but unfortunately rain ruined everything.  Overnight persistent rains, heavy cloud cover and drizzle forced the game to call-off. This is for the first time in the world cup history that four official games has been washed-out in a single event leaving the ICC's decision to hold event in june under check.
India and New Zealand were the both unbeaten teams and they shared one point each after today's wash out. Rain is surely going to play a huge part in deciding the top four teams now on.
