India Starts Of their World Cup 2019 With a Win.

• Team India crushed South Africa by 6 wickets in their very first match of the ICC Cricket world cup 2019 at hampshire bowl. After Proteas suffered two successive defeats at the hands of England and Bangladesh they look to recover and gain the rhtym. Faf du plessis won the toss and opted to bat on good day but bumrah proved their decison a fail. He removed both amla and de kock in Short time. South africa never looked Playing like a formidible odi side and on regular intervals they were loosing key wickets either to chahal or kuldeep. This duo rattled the whole south african batting set-up. They both picked up 5 wickets along with bumrah and kumar with two each. Late order partnerships and some handy runs by morris, phehlukwayo and rabada ensure RSA reached a score of  227-9 in their 50. In reply india struggled a bit earlier against rabada and morris.  Their bouncers and outswings troubles indian openers and as shikhar dhawan and virat kohli were dismissed when the score was only 52, but rohit sharma stuck his century to hit brutally the south african team. He alongwith rahul and then dhoni took india home with 15 balls to spare. After this loss the road to semifinals for south africa has become even more tougher. South africans always find themselves unlucky when it comes to the cricket's mega event.

 

South africa has replaced bueran Hendricks in place of injured dale steyn for rest of the world cup.
